Reps — Workout Tracker

Last updated: July 18, 2026

The short version: Reps is designed to be privacy-first and local-first. Your workout data stays on your device by default. There are no ads, no behavioral profiling, and no selling of your data. Reps keeps a small technical diagnostic history on your device so you can choose to send a support report when something goes wrong.

What We Collect

Reps does not collect, transmit, or store your workouts, routines, personal records, or preferences on our servers. We do not operate a Reps cloud for your training data. Your workout data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to your own cloud storage.

Reps does not use advertising analytics, ad networks, or behavioral profiling. Technical diagnostics remain on your device unless you explicitly create and share a support report.

Optional Support Reports

Reps keeps up to 14 days or 5 MB of technical diagnostic events in private app storage on your device. These records are not uploaded automatically and are excluded from device backups.

If you choose Report a Problem, Reps shows what will be included before creating a ZIP file. A report may contain recent app events, error types and stack frames, app and operating-system versions, device manufacturer and model, notification and battery settings, and crash, hang, or process-exit information provided by Android or Apple. You may also enter an optional description of the problem.

Support reports do not include workout, routine, or exercise names; weights or repetitions; distances; workout notes; account credentials; authentication tokens; unique device identifiers; location; contacts; clipboard contents; or full system logs.

The report is sent only when you choose an email or sharing destination. If you send it to Reps support, the report and your email are used to investigate the issue and respond to you. Temporary report files on your device are removed after 24 hours or the next app launch.

What We Don't Do

Optional Cloud Backup

Reps offers an optional backup feature that saves your data to your own cloud storage: Google Drive on Android and iCloud on iOS. This is entirely opt-in and works as follows:

Third-Party Services

If you choose to enable cloud backup, the app may use the following third-party services depending on platform:

These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy. Reps does not use third-party ad networks, data brokers, or automatic diagnostic-upload services.

Data Security

All data stored locally on your device is managed by the app's local database. If you enable cloud backup, data is encrypted in transit and stored under your own Google or Apple account security protections.

Your Rights and Controls

Children's Privacy

Reps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
